At Tech Advisor, we’ve long been of the opinion that a great phone doesn’t need to cost a lot of money.

As our round-up of the best budget smartphones shows, you can get an excellent handset for well under £250.

At the top of that list, you’ll find the Galaxy A14, which offers extraordinary value for money at just £179. But what if you could get it even cheaper? Right now, Amazon is selling the A14 for just £92.

Not only is this the lowest price this phone has ever been, but it’s the first time it has dropped below £100 – an absolute steal if you’re looking for a smartphone that won’t break the bank.

With many ultra-cheap phones like this, you’re worried if too many sacrifices have been made to hit the price point. But as our 8/10 review shows, the Galaxy A14 delivers a very impressive all-round experience.

The design, battery life and software are all strong, especially when combined with four years of security updates. Even the downsides – slow charging speeds, a basic display and mixed camera performance – are still very serviceable.

Want 5G support? The Galaxy A14 5G introduces it and several other upgrades, and is down to £113 from its previous £219 – saving you £106.

The A14 isn’t the only Samsung deal available during Prime Day. The mid-range Galaxy A55 and A35 also have some of the best prices we’ve ever seen. The A15 is also down to £139, £30 cheaper than the usual RRP.

All are available to you even if you’re not a Prime member, though subscribers will get access to free next-day delivery with some.

After a 30-day free trial, Prime costs £8.99/$14.99 per month or £95/$139 if you pay annually. However, there are plenty of other perks, including access to the Prime Video streaming service and 100 million songs via Amazon Music Prime.
