If you’re looking to upgrade to a next-gen console, then now is the perfect time to do it. Amazon has slashed the price of refurbished models of the Xbox Series S, knocking it down to just £189.99. 

Looking at the price history, the typical cost for a refurbished one is £209.99, so this deal represents a genuine saving of £20. And compared to the full price of a brand-new Xbox Series S – £249 – it’s a much more affordable option, not to mention one of the lowest prices we’ve seen from Amazon for the console.

This refurbished deal is part of Amazon’s Early Access Sale, which is exclusive to Amazon Prime members. If you’re not one, you can get 30 days free by signing up on the Amazon Prime website.  

Unfortunately, this Xbox deal isn’t available from Amazon in the US.  

Amazon thoroughly tests all its refurbished tech, mainly using third-party companies to ensure that everything works properly before it is shipped out, and this is then verified by Microsoft. So, whilst your console won’t be brand new, and may have a few ‘cosmetic imperfections’, it will still work perfectly. Certified refurbishments are also covered by Microsoft’s one-year warranty.
