The company The Tiny Pod has posted a video on X that shows what’s to come later this summer. It’s a shell for your Apple Watch that gives it an iPod look and introduces the scroll wheel, which was revolutionary when the iPod first saw the light of day in November 2001. In the video you can clearly see how the scroll wheel scrolls through the menus.

With an Apple Watch, you get an ‘iPod’ that is far more powerful than the iPod ever was.

Whether that’s genius thinking or not remains to be seen – but it sure looks cool.

The Tiny Pod doesn’t give pricing details, but the website suggests it will be available this summer.
