Dune: Part Two drops on Max next weekon May 14, 2024 at 13:27 Tech Advisor
Dune: Part Two had a triumphant run through the world’s cinemas, but you don’t have to buy a ticket to see Denis Villeneuve’s latest work. The film is now available in VOD platforms in the US and UK, and will soon be coming to streaming services.
The production is officially a box office smash, making a global total of over $700 million. This means it has now overtaken Wonka to become Timothée Chalamet’s highest-grossing film worldwide.
Audiences rushed to cinemas, and it’s hardly surprising: shot in IMAX, Dune: Part Two is electrifying. Magnificent shots of the desert, extraordinary costumes and mesmerising scenography look best on the big screen.
However, many viewers enchanted by Dune’s visual splendour will likely want to rewatch it at home, if only to follow their favourite scenes closely.
