You can also follow the Championship on the BBC Sport website and the BBC Sport app.

Eurosport also has the rights to broadcast the games, so you can watch this year’s Championship on Discovery+.

To do so, you must purchase the Standard tier, which costs £6.99 per month (no annual option is on offer). You can add it to your Amazon Prime Video account.

If you are a Sky customer, you can access Discovery+ Standard for free with Sky Q, Sky Glass, and Sky Stream.

How to watch the 2024 World Snooker Championship outside the UK

If you’re based in the US, you can watch the World Snooker Championship on

A Day Pass costs $1.99 and allows you to use the service for 24 hours. The monthly pass costs $5.99, while the Annual Pass is priced at $49.99.

All three options give you access to live events and the VOD archive.

You can also use BBC iPlayer while outside the UK, but you’ll need a VPN (virtual private network) to do so.

A VPN is a service that helps you change your computer’s IP and bypass regional restrictions.

Sound complicated? Don’t worry – using a VPN is simple, especially if you choose the right provider. We recommend NordVPN, which does a great job of unblocking access to BBC iPlayer – you can read full steps in our guide to watching BBC iPlayer from abroad.

After downloading the NordVPN app, open it and click on any available point on the UK map. Once connected to the British server, go to the BBC iPlayer watch the 2024 World Snooker Championship.
