Sky Glass is the first TV with Sky built into the set. It comes in three sizes, five colours and boasts a Quantum Dot display and Dolby Atmos sound support.

How to buy Sky Glass

Sky Glass is now available to order. All you need to do is head to the website, sign up for an account and follow the steps to choose your plan. You can choose the TV model, the payment plan for it, and add your entertainment subscription (and broadband as well, should you want that).

You can buy the TV now on the Sky Glass website.

As the TV set includes a Sky plan, you cannot buy it through regular retailers such as Amazon and Currys. 

Sky Glass payment plans

If you want to buy Sky Glass, then you’ll need to choose how you wish to pay. You can either pay for the cost of the TV upfront in one chunk or choose to split the payment over either a 24-month/48-month contract.

Prices have increased since the TV first launched, but here’s the costs of each option:

Whilst you do save some money overall with contracts, keep in mind that you’ll be locked in with that TV for the long run. In addition, there’s also a small upfront fee for each of the contracts. This is £20 for the 24-month contracts and £10 for the 48-month contracts.

Sky Entertainment packages and extra costs

Once you’ve chosen the size and colour of your TV, you’ll need to add on your entertainment package. Sky offers different bundles including some with Netflix, some with Sports and more.

Packages start from £24 per month, and are available on a 31-day rolling contract, so you can switch over to something else should you wish.

In addition, if you want Sky throughout the rest of your home on other TVs, then you a Sky Stream puck and Whole Home subscription. This requires an upfront cost of £50 for each puck unit, and £12 per month on top of your contract.

It’s worth noting that Ultra HDR and Dolby Atmos are not included in your standard package. You’ll need to pay an extra £6 per month for this.

If you cancel your Sky entertainment package, then in theory the TV could still work with apps such as Netflix, or with a Freeview aerial/box. However, if you’re locked in with the TV monthly payments, you’ll still have to stick to them.
