The best robot vacuum Black Friday deals: November 24on November 24, 2022 at 11:49 Tech Advisor

At full price, robot vacuums can be expensive. But they’re often discounted heavily during sales, meaning Black Friday is one of the best times to take the plunge and buy one.

Although Black Friday doesn’t officially arrive until tomorrow, 25 November, with Cyber Monday just after on 28 November, deals are live already. There may still be bigger savings to come over the weekend, but it’s no longer guaranteed that the biggest discounts come on the day itself – so if you spot a saving on a model you want today, it might be better to take the plunge and go for it.

As with so much tech, you tend to get what you pay for. We’d recommend avoiding the very cheapest, basic models that probably won’t live up to your expectations. Instead, use these deals to buy a better model than you might otherwise have done – you’ll thank us later.

More advanced models can map out your home and more efficiently clean it, whereas cheaper ones fulfill the stereotype of basic bots bumping into everything. More importantly, they often lack the suction power necessary to remove dirt from carpets and rugs.

Features such as self-charging mean there’s no worry of running out of power, and many robots can also tackle thresholds to move between rooms. Some can even recognise and avoid obstacles likes shoes and books. None can traverse staircases, though, so you’ll have to give them a helping hand if you want multiple levels cleaned – or go all out and buy more than one.

If you’d like help choosing, have a look at our round-up of the best robot vacuum cleaners we’ve reviewed, to find out which one is right for you. Otherwise, read on for the deals. US deals are first and UK deals follow.
